Ok, since I'm not sure if I can successfully improve my topic. I'm going to prepare an alternative one which I might be able to use if the other one fails. So, the experiment is:

"How permanent are permanent markers?"

I'm thinking of using different materials (i.e. plastic, paper and fabric) and different solvents to remove it. That includes using water, paint thinners, vinegar and alcohol to attempt to remove the markers.

Ok, so firstly, I'm going to draw a black line all the way across each material (the plastic, paper and fabric) and then break the line into four sections by drawing three lines the opposite way (or perpendicular to it) on the materials and then let it dry for about 20 minutes.

After it's dry, I'm going to apply a few drops of water to one section of each of the materials, a few drops of rubbing alcohol to another, vinegar to another and some paint thinner to the last section. Then I'll record observations over a period of around 1 week and see whether they come off or not.

But I'm not going to do all the materials at once, I'll do them one after the other.

Maybe this one is better than the effects of gatorade vs. water one.
